I have well over a decade of experience in graphic and web design. I’ve been designing and developing for the web for nearly a decade now, and have built almost every type of website you can imagine. I love both the creative side of design and the technical side of coding, as well as bringing the two together.
In recent years, frameworks, build tools, package manages, and source control have become an invaluable foundation for my development workflow. The extensive and collaborative nature of our industry helps make me a better designer and developer with every article and tutorial I read (and I read a lot of them). Every project I undertake provides an opportunity to solve new problems, use new techniques, improve processes, and evolve my craft.
I’ve spent the last three years designing and building applications and websites for government entities. I’ve recently moved into a Project Manager position to learn more about the operational side of business, as well as improving how I manage teams and deliver customer service. I’ve been doing freelance work my entire career and find the variety of projects gratifying. Most of my freelance work is from repeat customers or referrals from past clients, largely thanks to the good fortune of maintaining relationships with a few select agencies and clients.
Born and raised in world-renowned fine art destination of Santa Fe, New Mexico, I have a deep fondness of art and nature. I’m married to my high school sweetheart and we have two kids (with another on the way!), three dogs, one saltwater aquarium, and nearly 50 house plants. I’m also the skinniest foodie you’ll ever meet, and love to fly fish.
If you’re looking for a designer and front-end developer with highly proficient skills, meticulous mobile-first and responsive practices, and a friendly, open, and collaborative attitude – I’m a prime candidate and I look forward to chatting with you.
